Record Breaking

I never thought I would write about this. Ha-ha.

All happens in yesterday.

My friend (Malay) and I (Chinese) had a journey on 2th of April. We started our journey at Tambun by using the local transport services. Yes, it’s the bus. We waited almost 30 min before the bus arrived in front of us.

Hop on the bus and the driver follow the road that he always takes. At that time, there are only few passengers in the bus. My friend said:  “1 Malaysia.” And then I noticed in the bus was filled by multi-racial people. That is the great thing you can found in Malaysia, with multi-racial people living harmoniously (think again). The highlight in the bus was the bus fare collector (Chinese) and the driver (Indian). Both of them were talking none stop about the lack of passenger in the bus. I eavesdropping them; the bus driver was complaining there were only few passengers and it’s very unprofitable and something about they were late from the schedule.

My friend and I stop near the Ipoh Parade because our first mission was there. We're starving when we arrived there, and waiting for no one we head to the food court. Ordered our delicious food and drinks, we settle down and EAT. While we are eating, there was a group of annoying youngsters with very rude and improper behaviour sitting not far from our sight. We agreed that the group of youngsters are very disgusting and pathetic. We would not act such a behaviour in the public nor even anytime. I think they don’t have any self-awareness.

I was looking for slack pant and so we head down to Parkson in Ipoh Parade. Searching for almost an hour, I found my favourite slack pant. Luckily Parkson is on sale which I won’t have to worry about buying expensive stuff.

There was also a “IT Fair” happening in the mall and so we decided to stop by the fair. If you want to buy electronic devices, I strongly suggest you wait for a “IT Fair” like this because the seller will and might discount some electronic stuff to the lowest price until yourself won’t even believe it. If I had some extra money, I might consider to buy few gadgets and take it home, he-he.

However, the journey didn’t stop at Ipoh Parade. We decided to continue our journey to Jusco Kinta (First time). That was not a short and comfortable journey because we planned to save money and can travel to many places which we used the bus service at the first place. With the Tanjung Rambutan bus, we have to stop at Hospital Pantai and WALK to Jusco Kinta.

Crossing roads and cars, we managed to reach Jusco safely. Without wasting any time, we both know what we want and we walk fast to the hypermarket in Jusco and looking for DRINKING WATER. Our throats were dry and almost dehydrated. Ha-ha.

After we were hydrated, we went window shopping until we get tired and take our time on a bench. We were sitting in front of the ‘Baskin Robin’ ice cream. That was the time I lost my patience to taste the BR ice cream. I stand up and roam the menu of BR and I decided to choose their signature ice cream; Banana Royale. I selected Chocolate mousse and Chocolate butter ice cream, delicious strawberry as my topping. After paying the money, I settle down again at the bench and taste my ultra delicious BR ice cream (First time).

After the delicious BR ice cream, we head to food court and EAT again, ha-ha. But at the end, I order for my meal only because my friend decided to eat somewhere else. Taken almost 20 min and we moved again to walk a while in Jusco and then we walk out from Jusco.

We walked half way between Jusco and the bus stop and suddenly my friend said: ‘Where is your slack?!’ My hand wasn’t holding anything. OMG! Both of us rush back to Jusco and we knew I left it at the food court when I was having meal. Rushing, rushing and rushing to the food court with sweating head and body.

I sprint to the table and peak from distance and my slack pant was on the chair. (What a relieve) There were three people at the table having their meal. Politely, I beg my pardon and take my pant. How stupid for I to left my thing there? (First time)

After the lost and found, we chasing for bus because that time was late already. There was no bus and we have to wait for one and a half hour just then have bus.

For the long waiting, the bus came and we feel so relieve because we were so tired.

Arrived at Tambun, we stop at the Mamak (Islam Indian) restaurant because my friend is starving already. There was a EPL match between West Ham and Manchester United. We were stunt by the result because MU was left behind 0 to 2 by West Ham in the first half. But all that change in a blink of eye in the second half. MU first score was started by the tremendous free kick of Wayne Rooney that helps MU to catch against West Ham leading. Just within 10 min, Rooney dribbled in the penalty area and shot the ball into West Ham goal. We were excited by the performance of Rooney, he really perform well and brilliant. The third goal was again by Rooney and it’s a penalty shootout from the penalty of a West Ham player because of hand ball. After the score, it’s West Ham 2 and Manchester United 3. MU played well and turns the result over to their side. (I'm not a fans of MU)

Time was late, we moved from the Mamak restaurant and the match hadn’t finish but we had to go back. It was nice to watch a football match at the Mamak resetaurant. When there is a goal, all together people will scream for it.

We look pale when arrived at hostel. After a nice bath, we both went to bed.

So many first time in a day. It’s a nice day even tiring.

Full stop for now, I was late to update because all that happen yesterday. Great start for April.
